Who are Apex Architecture

Apex Architecture was founded in 2004 by Architect David Hurcombe. He began his career practicing architecture in Bloomsbury Square in the West End of London. In 1983 David moved to the city and formed an office in Holborn Viaduct in part of the viaduct structure. We still practice out of London today, but our current studio is in Greenwich.

Since then we’ve set up practices in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath as well as establishing a Welsh base in beautiful Monmouthshire. These locations combined with our established London architectural practice give us easy access to projects stretching from the Southeast to Southwest of England as well as the Midlands and South Wales.

Richard Jones a Chartered Surveyor joined Apex as a director in 2005 and Charlie Vine a Chartered Architectural Technologist became a director in 2011. These appointments reflect our policy of providing a multi- disciplinary approach to design and construction management.
